Dallas Black Pride 2011 Highlights

Just wanted to take a moment to publicly thank everyone at Dallas Fort Worth Pride Movement for showing my models and I an incredible time. This was one of the most professional and courteous group of people that we have ever encountered. Venton Jones and Derrick Spillman have really assembled an amazing group of people. The events were top notch and more than the typical "Pride" parties. There were panel discussions, workshops, luncheons, a fashion show, a Live Show taping for the GLO Network, an Expo and much more. Many Same Gender Loving People from across the country came out to support DFWPrideMovement.org this year as they "Moved Forward."

There were opportunities to meet and greet. The opening night event at Lolita's was hot! All of the guests, such as myself, had the opportunity to meet the board of dfwpridemovement.org and many of the local Dallas guys. The evening got friendly as we all had margaritas and introductions were made.

Pornstars Rock Rockafella, Remy Mars and myself were among of a panel discussing "Barebacking in Gay Porn." There was some great information shared to the packed room of attendants. We were asked some great questions and appreciated the chance to answer some common misconceptions about pornstar, porn, barebacking, and etc.

Alternatives Bookstore also hosted Remy, Rock and I for an in store appearance. The staff at Alternatives was so kind and friendly. In though it was kinda of early in the afternoon, quite a few fans showed up to welcome us to Dallas. We took pictures and signed pictures & DVDs. Quite a few of the images ended up on Twitter and Facebook, which was very cool.

 The Sunday brunch at Catfish Blues was also a highlight. The best moments always include food and great conversation. There was plenty of both as we took over the entire restaurant. We also had hoped for karaoke, but we did not get the chance.

Lastly, there were some hot parties at night. Thanks to all the venues and club promoters that booked us for appearances. I enjoyed the dancers at Exclusive and the great show featuring Pornstar Envy. Drag Superstars Raquel Lord and Tommie Ross tore the roof off with two great performances. Then Brick Nightclub had me for an appearance. The guys were packed in there. Thanks to Terrion and the crew for showing me plenty of love. The champagne was flowing all night!

Before I knew it the weekend was over! We had an amazing time and look forward to next year. Also have to say that the host hotel was so friendly and attentive. The Marriot @City Center went above and beyond. My suite was the most comfortable hotel room I have ever experienced. Definitely check it out if you are visiting Dallas.
